Reduce your costs and accelerate your data capture projects.
Until recently data capture meant incurring the slow turn-around, high costs and errors associated with manual input. But now we can save you both time and money by utilising forms recognition technology to capture data from both printed and hand written forms with a bureau service that is faster, more accurate and cheaper than ever before.
For more information on how we can help you, read on....
In-house facilities
We have developed an extensive range of time-saving in-house facilities including:
Automatic sorting and opening of 30,000+ mail items per day
High speed scanning of documents
Manual data entry for documents unsuitable for scanning
Confidential waste disposal
Why should you use our service instead of doing it in-house?
In the conventional setting, with human keyboarders, the accuracy of hand entered check/tick boxes can get as bad as 40% - that means more wrong than right! As you can imagine this can make quite a mess of your market research.
By automating the capture of data, we can process your forms up to 10 times faster than if they were input by hand
No extra space or hardware required for typists
Add to this list the large savings in labour time, and cost and the answer is clear!
So what type of forms can be processed/form design?
The software can be taught to read almost any printed or handwritten document with a standard layout including laser and handprinted text, check/tick boxes and barcodes.

In addition to capturing data, we can also capture sections of each form image (such as a signature) that can also be placed in a database for future reference.
Captured information can be placed into a database and a link created from that record to the corresponding image allowing a search to be made on the database and for the image to be viewed or printed with just the click of the mouse.
Use black boxes in corners of each page for registration purposes
Handwriting should be written into black square boxes
Checkboxes should be a about 4-5mm in size and separated from each other by at last the width of a checkbox
Checkboxes should be filled in with a cross for the best recognition, not a tick, line or filled in

The types of forms we process include:
Market research questionnaires Magazine subscription formsUtility bills (Gas, Electricity, Water, etc)Delivery notes
Data entry formsCredit card slips
Order forms
Enhanced accuracy
To enhance accuracy, we can check the captured data against a database or user defined dictionary as well as performing date, currency and character-specific formatting validation rules.
What savings can you make?
In cases where forms consist entirely of check/tick boxes, circle numbers and/or printed text, data entry costs can be cut by over 90%
In forms with a mixture of handwritten fields and check/tick boxes, etc. the costs can be cut by 60-70%. Turnaround time and accuracy is significantly better than with hand entry.
OK, I'm interested...what should I do now?
