For a number of years we have offered a web hosting service for clients files. Using this facility our clients have been able to quickly locate and retrieve images based on index information we have captured such as invoice number, date, file reference, account number, etc.

The one question we get asked most is 'Are the scanned files secure? How can I tell if they have been altered?
Until recently this was a tricky question to answer. Adobe have now made it possible for a digital signature to be embedded within PDF files. In short, this signature serves two purposes:
- It proves who created the document and when.
- It clearly shows whether a file has been altered since it was scanned/created. It is effectively infallible and totally trustworthy.
You scanned PDF's are now more trustworthy than paper!
